We’re not quite ready for the warm temperatures of Summer to be over however the dewy morning grass is getting us thinking about food and beverages that reflect the change in the air.

Personally I LOVE change of seasons to get inspired and with places like Pinterest and Instagram feeding our minds with beautiful pictures and endless ideas it’s easy to get excited. Pop over and have a look at what’s feeding the Clink Teams imagination.

Cocktail of the week – $10

Juicy and sweet, plums are just ripe for the picking at the moment. The kitchen team made us up a delicious thyme sugar syrup which we muddle with the plums. Throw in some ice and top with a lovely Prosecco, at a very easy drinking 10.5% and voila…. late summer in a glass!

The temperatures are rising so Clink in Sumner is opening for weekend breakfasts from 9am!

With an exciting new menu featuring local free range egg dishes, straight from the iron waffles, powerhouse smoothies and some RAW goodness, Clink is the perfect place to start your day. Did I mention we serve Allpress coffee?

Lunch has had a spring clean too, so head out to Sumner with it’s smooth new roads, beautiful coastal pathway and enjoy a meal at Clink in the sunny and sheltered courtyard.

It’s all about the taste!

Time to shake off spring and head in to menus with new summer seasonal twists. It’s going to be a big switcharoo with new beers, wines, cocktails and dinner menus hitting Clink next Wednesday 10th December! Excited we definitely are, with new award winning wineries like Greystone, Lansdowne and Elephant Hill joining the line up. These wines have some serious accolades behind them and will blow you away with flavour.

Gin is so in right now and we will be showcasing different styles of Gin with their own signature cocktail to be sipped in the sun! Our new favorite is Rogue Society passionately blended and patiently batch distilled in a hand beaten, 19th century, John Dore copper pot still right here in Canterbury! An artisan dry gin with a twist of kiwi ingenuity.

Fresh flavours are served up from the dedicated kitchen crew too! Some new twists on old favourites are being created with the focus remaining still on quality ingredients. Our beef is 100% Canterbury Wakanui, raised in a stress free range and idyllic environment this beef is fed only GMO free grain with no need for any antiobiotics or hormones to produce the finest most succulent melt in your mouth goodness.
